Welcome
Are you feeling stuck between who you are and who you know you were meant to be? TherapyWorks is the private practice of Brion Carlson, MA, LPC. And I focus on helping my clients build a life worth living and a Self worth living it. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and complementary approaches, I support those grappling with meaning, mortality, authenticity, and purpose. I specialize in the depressions, anxieties, and addictions that have these deeper existential roots, as well as other blocks to authenticity, such as people pleasing, and perfectionism.
If you’re struggling with shame, loneliness, heartbreak, aging, illness, loss of purpose, or you just lack a clear sense of Self, book a free 15 minute video consultation to see if my manner and my approach feel right for you.

“It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.”
— Erma Bombeck
I appreciate the strength it takes to reach out for therapy. It takes even more courage to admit our true hopes and dreams to another person. But life is so short. And this is your moment. My journey has led me here too, and now it's my purpose to help.
